RIFFAGE is a grunge/alternative rock band formed in the summer of 2023. True to our name, we deliver pure, uncompromising, guitar-driven energy that hits hard and leaves a lasting impression. Our sound is a blend of intense riffs, dark melodies, and powerful rhythms that captivate and hold you tight. We embrace the raw spirit of classic grunge while bringing in the force and edge of modern alternative rock.

Joey, our fresh new frontman since October 2025 is more than just a singer. He’s a force of raw emotion. Joey delivers every line with a level of soul and intensity that pulls you in. It is exactly what we wanted in our music. His voice resembles a bit of Jerry Cantrell’s, we know it’s a bolt statement but just listen!
Billy’s journey began at the prestigious Herman Brood Academy, where he honed his craft and set the foundation for his drumming career. Over the years, he’s played in various bands, building a wealth of experience both in writing and live performance. His drumming style is a force of nature, hard-hitting and full of relentless energy. After every show, we find ourselves asking, “Did the drum kit survive?” It’s the kind of power that demands attention, leaving an imprint long after the final beat.
Also a fresh new member since the start of 2025 is our bassist Chris. He has a bigger pedalboard than our two guitarist combined. Is that a good or bad thing? Well it’s goooood. You’ll hear that in our live shows. Chris isn’t just delivering interesting bass lines. His sound shapes the sound of RIFFAGE in a whole new way! We are very happy we’ve found such a versatile man behind the thick strings.
Roel, our lead guitarist, brings years of experience and a deep-rooted passion for playing the guitar. Having played in several bands, (FoulSons, Dearmom etc.) Roel’s journey has shaped his guitar work into something explosive. His riffs are like punches to the chest, and his solos are both screaming and heart-wrenching, always pushing that high peak moment in a song to the next level.
Then there’s Ryan, whose love for music stretches far beyond the stage. Together with Billy the founding members of RIFFAGE. He’s always creating, always exploring new sounds. When he’s not shredding on his guitar with all the raw energy he can muster, Ryan’s at home producing electronic music—drum ’n bass, techno, you name it. His multifaceted approach to music infuses RIFFAGE with a dynamic range that sets us apart, blending the power of rock with the rhythm of electronic innovation.
